Today we inform you of the New Airport in Murcia, which opened on January 15.

The Region of Murcia International Airport will link with 12 destinations in three countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Belgium. The airport will connect with nine destinations in the United Kingdom, two in Belgium and one in Ireland, operated by the airlines Ryanair, easyJet and TUIfly.

As reported by the spokeswoman for the regional government, Noelia Arroyo, in a press conference after the Extraordinary Government Council, Ryanair has a total of seven routes: London-Stansted, London-Luton, Manchester, East Midlands, Birmingham, Leeds-Bradford and Dublin; to EasyJet three destinations: London-Gatwick, London-Southend and Bristol; and, finally, TUIfly will have two routes: Brussels-Charleroi and Antwerp According to the information provided by AENA to the regional Executive, there will be about 40 flights per week to travel to these cities, with more than 5,000 places offered by the airlines of Ryanair, easyJet and TUIfly. London will be the destination with the most air links from the new airport with a total of four.

More flights in the second quarter of 2019
